About Us
The Cambridge-Oxford Owners Club was established in 1980 and is still the largest International Club catering for all BMC 4 and 6 Cylinder Farinas and Pre-Farina Austins - and also one of the cheapest too with Membership at just £25 per year!
The condition of your car is irrelevant. The Cambridge-Oxford Owners Club welcomes all owners regardless of how 'good' or 'bad' their car is - and all are equally welcome at our rallies and shows.
We have a fantastic high quality, large format, quarterly Newsletter, great exclusive discount deals with Farina suppliers, Members Only Forum, technical help, special discount on 1/43 scale Farina models, up to 50% off Classic Car Insurance (including European cover) and much, much more.
We have an ever-expanding network of Area Secretaries across the country and local Area Group meetings and Local and National Rallies throughout the year. Our main rally of the year, the National, and our AGM and Autumn Rally move around the country to give as many members as possible the opportunity of attending.
There is a huge wealth of expertise on hand too. With Technical Officers and Marque Secretaries, for every car covered by the Club, there is always an expert to hand somewhere. The Club also has access to a huge archive of original BMC material ranging from Workshop Manuals, Parts Books, Colour Charts, Road Test Reports and Sales Brochures.
The whole Club is buzzing with lots of fresh ideas and new members are joining all the time. The future has never looked brighter for The Cambridge-Oxford Owners Club and, of course, for Farina and Pre-Farina cars and their owners all over the World! Why not come and join us?
A Message From The Chairman
Welcome to the Cambridge-Oxford Owners Club website.
The COOC has been a very progressive club regarding our use of technology. We were one of the first car clubs to have a website back in the 1990's and to have a social network in 2009.
Yet we remain a very traditional club, with the engagement and enjoyment of our members at heart of everything we do.
Hopefully this site shows you the many benefits that COOC membership brings.
Please explore the menus at the top of this page, where you'll find a Buyer's Guide , Owner's Guide and much more information about the cars we cater for.
Our Media page has always been popular with Motoring Journalists and the list of vehicles we cover is full of facts, figures and trivia for each make and model.
The Club has come a long way since it was formed in 1980. It is now the largest club catering for the 1.5 and 3 litre 'Farina' range and their Pre-Farina Austin predecessors.
If you are a potential member I hope that this website shows just what the Cambridge-Oxford Owners Club can do you for you - and persuades you to join!
Best wishes,
Eddie Foster
