Photo Competition 2016

This year's photo competition is open to Members Only.
Below is an advert from Practical Motorist magazine, October 1962 and features the proud owner of an Austin A55 MkII who reckons regular waxing adds 10% value to his car!
We'd like members to recreate that photo to the best of their ability.
It doesn't need to be an Austin A55 MkII - any of the 4 cylinder Farina models should fit the bill - Morris Oxford V & VI, Austin Cambridge A60, Wolseley 15/60 & 16/60, MG Magnette or Riley 4/62 & 4/72
You can be as creative or humorous as you wish - maybe dress up with suit, tie and a spot of Brylcreem - or do it in a Banger with an oily face and overalls!
As long as you recreate the pose, framing and angle of picture.
The example on the right was done with a camera phone, on my driveway in less than 5 minutes - so with a bit of preparation you should easily beat that!
The competition closes on August 31st, 2016 and the winner will receive a copy of the great new book "Making Cars at Longbridge" which charts 100 years of Austin cars with some glorious pictures.
We hope to add a few more prizes for runners-up as the competition progresses - watch this space!
Please remember, you need to be a COOC Member to enter.
You can submit your entry in one of three ways -
